Who's
Who has informed Folk Traditions Store owner, David Dirlam, that his biography
will appear in their 2006 Edition of Who's Who in the World. It is research on memes that
led to this honors. An expansion and updating of the book "Memes in Your Life" will be a
goal for this year. More information at
www.memeticsconsulting.com.

What our customers are saying...
-
A member of the O'Mahoney Society who had been to
Ireland over 100 times... "You can go all over Ireland and not find as good a
collection of books about Ireland as right here."
-
A Massachusetts Librarian... "I've been in
a thousand book stores and never seen one with such a thoughtful organization."
-
A Georgia pianist... "I never imagined a small
harp could have such a resonant tone."
-
A Connecticut visitor... "If you keep playing
those Irish flutes, I might never leave."
-
A Maryland cantor... "This is the best
collection of Jewish music I have ever seen."
-
A SCAD Graduate Student... "I've spent many
hours in those big box bookstores and none of them carry these wonderful fiber
arts books."
-
Elizabeth Everett, a mystical melodic singer from
Los Angeles who created a stunning system of
memes for
singing (and some
spiritually powerful singing as well) during our Wisdom on Wednesday Discussion wrote from back in California..."I
was so happy to be able to learn about a new topic which seems to have much to
offer in the expansion of understanding and consciousness."
-
Ray Wood (in response to being asked if revisions
were needed for his
memetic profile) "If I
didn't see it, I'd swear it would not be possible. Now I know what I've been
doing the last 21 years."

Our Mission
Through our books, instruments,
printed music and instructional videos, our customers take home the very life activities of traditional Savannah.
We draw especially on the Native American, British, Irish, Jewish and
African roots that existed in the minds and habits of Savannah’s founders. To
complement all of life's activities, we offer a variety of folk flutes and harps
that provide sweet melodies and gentle harmonies — ancient instruments
made with the finest modern craftsmanship.
Books to help you achieve the four benefits of
folk traditions
-
Roots - their history, geography and
ecology
-
Significance
- their languages, stories and religion

Harmony - specialized commercial and political
activities needed for communities to grow
-
