The
Lap
Harp
from the
Harpsicle Harp
Co.
Wm. Rees' new amazingly low
priced harps, made in Indiana, USA, by people paid a living wage and receiving
full medical and dental benefits.
-
33 inches
tall
- 4.5 pounds
- 26 strings, from C an octave below middle C to
G, 2½ octaves above.
Great for beginners and good for budget-minded
advanced players needing a
highly portable lap harp.
This happy harp comes in flavors (colors,
click the picture to the left to see the with nuts, licorice, raspberry and
maple versions in detail): cherry (red), grape
(purple), raspberry (pinkish purple), blueberry (blue), marshmallow (white),
lime (green), licorice (black), and silver. Harpsicles won't melt in a warm
house, but like all harps, you should keep them out of direct sunlight.
Included with each Harpsicle is a Korg electronic
chromatic tuner, a How to Play instruction booklet, strap buttons and a
tuning wrench. Every Harpsicle comes with a one year warranty. Harpsicle sticks
(a horizontal bar that rests on the knees and attaches to the harp to stabilize
it),
wrappers (soft cases), tutti frutti straps (that attach to the strap buttons)
and spare string sets are extra, but are similarly low priced.
A Sharpsicle (with C and F tuning levers) and a stand
have also been developed (click on photo to see closeup).
